Romsdahl fishing trawlers of Romsdahl, Norway, inspired the design that is characterized by: a relatively clear foredeck, a superstructure set amidships to aft and a rounded (or "cruiser") stern. The yacht also has a modern reverse transom allowing more space aft and easier access to the water.
